At Blue Haven Ranch, choosing life is only the beginning.

This year, we’re especially proud of these numbers from our end of year report. In 2025:

3 jobs were started
2 businesses were launched
3 mothers enrolled in education tracks

There’s an old saying about giving a man a fish versus teaching him how to fish. We believe the same is true here.

In a state where the crisis facing single, pregnant mothers is complex and often misunderstood, advocacy has to go further than a moment of intervention. It has to create real pathways forward.

When we come alongside a mom, we’re not just supporting her pregnancy. We’re helping her build a life where she can raise her baby, provide for her family, and move toward stability with dignity and hope.

This is what transformation looks like: changing the system by empowering women with tools, support, and opportunity, not just a temporary solution.

Happy New Year from Blue Haven Ranch! We cannot wait to get to do more of this gospel work in 2026. Won’t you join us?

For many of us, the idea of having someone to check on you in a time of need, to help carry the load in a season with little ones, or even to simply ask how your week is going, seems natural and expected.

However, we’ve seen time and time again that those markers of “supportive community” are completely foreign to the moms that come through our doors. And if this is true for them, we know it’s true for the countless others single moms out there that we have yet to reach.

We are so grateful to our volunteers who are showing these women and their children that their lives matter to others, that the load is not theirs alone to carry, and that doing life in community is a beautiful gift.

Our goal is for each of our moms to experience the beauty of living in a truly supportive community.

What better way to start the year off than to announce the arrival of another sweet baby to our BHR family! This lovely lady arrived at the end of 2025. She needed a bit of extra care upon arrival, and your prayers were felt! She is healthy, adorable, and settling in with her family at home. Help us welcome her to the world and congratulate her brave, strong mama! 💕🎀

Take a moment to swipe through these numbers. 💙

Each one represents lives changed and statistical trajectories altered, all because of the courage of these women that believed in something greater for themselves and their children. They also represent the beautiful community of people actively being the hands and feet of Jesus through their work, prayer, and generosity.

What a joy to recap the year and consider the deep, meaningful work we’ve been privileged to do. We are immeasurably grateful to God for all He has done in us and through us this year.

A cozy December peek into our weekly support groups! We have designed this time to be an exhale and refill for our moms. A meal together, after which volunteers snuggle babies and play with kiddos while moms walk through an Embrace Grace study with mentors. Supportive community and gospel discipleship. 💙

A lesson I (Aubrey) have been meditating on lately:

Hospitality isn’t about a perfect home.

It’s about creating a space where people feel safe, seen, and welcome... a space where love, not decor, takes center stage.

We moved out of a fully remodeled home and into a house that needed everything. It has stretched us. Recently, we started a big remodel that was necessary to create a space for our BHR ministry to best serve our moms and families. It's been six months of dust, decisions, delays, and the kind of vulnerability that makes you want to close the door rather than welcome people in.

But here’s what the Lord kept teaching us along the way:

His Kingdom is not built on picture-perfect rooms. It’s built on people.

Inviting others into your “unfinished” space, whether that’s your home or your life, becomes a powerful equalizer. None of us are above one another. We’re all just walking our own stories, often messy, often in process, always loved by Him.

So if embarrassment or shame about your home has ever held you back, hear this the way we’ve had to hear it ourselves:

Don’t let the condition of your house keep you from the calling on your life.

Hospitality is not perfection, but it is generosity, humility, and an open door.

And while we still have a few finishing touches ahead, we’re so grateful for how far this place has come…and even more grateful for what God has been forming in us along the way.

The data shows it.

There are many organizations doing incredible work in supporting pregnant, at-risk women in Texas. However, rarely are organizations set up to take in pregnant mothers who already have other children. That's exactly the gap we have stepped in to fill.

We specifically serve pregnant, at-risk moms who already have children because few organizations exist that do this!

We didn’t want to provide services already being provided by others. We wanted to be the place where mom’s with circumstances that didn’t “fit” the already-set mold could find hope, healing, and help.

Every mother and child deserves a chance to thrive, and we will always be here, ready to enter in and be that place of security and hope for them and their children.

(Special thanks to Texas Right to Life for the research and work they do around this data!)

This time of year, as temperatures drop, daylight lessens, and homes fill with festive decor, we find ourselves focusing in on the story of a mother with child once again.

This mother, who was chosen by God to bear His Son, is a fixture of this season and a supporting character in this pivotal story of our faith.

What if we paused to really consider her? To consider her circumstances, the people around her, the repeated moments where she searched for the words to communicate to others in her life what was about to happen and how everything had changed for her (and for all of humanity) forever?

Mary, a young unmarried woman, a virgin, now bearing the promised Savior of the world.

We long for every mother that comes through our doors to know the love of Jesus, this promised Savior who is coming again. To know that there is no pit too deep or wilderness too far off for Him to not seek them out, know them intimately, and bring them up and out into spacious and blessed places.

The most beautiful thing about the stories we read in Scripture is how often we can find ourselves in them, and here in the story of Mary, our mom’s can find comfort and relatability. She knew what they know. In many ways, she lived parallel experiences to them. And that same baby who became our Savior is theirs, too.

As you think think through where you want to invest your time in 2026, consider volunteering with us! There are a variety of different needs for different giftings. Some hold babies, some spend time holding space for our moms, and some serve in the grandparent program. You can prepare apartments, help with the animals, or play with the kids. There is a spot for anyone and everyone to join us in this work!
