In recognition of Substance Use Disorder Treatment Month, we wanted to highlight the day-to-day work of our Substance Use Department counselors. Each day, they meet one-on-one with individuals, facilitate group sessions, coordinate care, and develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices. Our counselors build trust, monitor progress, provide education, and offer consistent support as individuals navigate their recovery. This month serves to support those contemplating or seeking help, the practitioners committed to treating substance use disorder, and those support individuals on their recovery journey.

The Crisis Residential Unit provides immediate, short-term mental health support for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. CRU offers assessments, stabilization, and connection to appropriate services in a safe, supportive setting, with the goal of reducing the need for hospitalization and helping individuals return to stability as quickly as possible.
