Winter can be beautiful, but it can also feel heavy. Shorter days and colder weather don’t just affect our bodies, they can weigh on our moods too. If you’re feeling a little low this season, know that you’re not alone. Start with small, simple steps. Try to get outside when the sun is out. Stick to a sleep routine. Move your body, even if it’s just a short walk or a mindful body movement. Take a moment to check in with yourself. Notice your thoughts and feelings. Don’t be afraid to reach out to someone you trust, talking about what’s going on doesn’t make you weak. Winter won’t last forever. Hard days pass. Be kind to yourself, and try to see this season as an invitation to slow down, reflect, and take care of your body and mind.
