Happy Easter! Another year, another bunny cake. This one made by my sister for my birthday a couple days ago, just like my momma would make for my birthdays/Easters. Easter is my favorite holiday and Spring is my favorite season. A season of resurrection and renewal, a time for refreshed mindsets and rejuvenated and restorative habits. Wishing you Easter blessings, renewed hope, a refreshed body and mind to bring light into the world 💕

Trying to practice what I teach.. long day, tired and my boys are at a team dinner, I wanted to just eat the pizza, but a little push to make a salad. Convenience foods have a place, just pair them with something whole.

Spent the holiday weekend with my 13 year old nephew and he wanted to make immunity shots! It was a bit of a struggle to get down the first day, but we were pros by this morning. You blend it with peels and all. The black pepper increases the absorption of turmeric.

Savory pick-me-ups! A client last week requested some savory snack suggestions for that afternoon struggle. I love the rice crackers, especially the flavored, with some type of sauce. The pesto is a simple homemade variation, but the others are excellent from Traders Joes. Pickles, olives, seasoned nuts and beans, and seaweed sheets also fit the bill. I like to make these little plates when my kids and husband come home and are starving before dinner.

Amazing 100% Plant-based restaurant find tonight in San Francisco! I ordered from the seasonal menu ~ green pea and asparagus ricotta raviolis. I’m inspired to use peas more, they are simple, protein rich, and versatile.
