Each of our birth suites has a variety of tools to help progress labor naturally. One of our favorites is the and ladder.

Placing one foot up and rocking back and forth can help baby line up in the pelvis.

Meet midwife Tiffany who has been with us at birth center setting since 2007!

She's passionate about providing care in a way that is truly woman and family focused; in a way that your needs and desires are heard and respected.

Her education includes an undergraduate nursing degree from Regis University in May 2002. Since that time, she has worked in partnership with women and children. In 2012, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing (Nurse Midwifery) from Frontier Nursing University

Tiffany and her husband, Donavon, are navigating life as empty nesters. They have two amazing daughters who are forging their own paths in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Even though the kids are no longer at home, Tiffany and Donavon have a full house with two dogs, two cats, three horses, and chickens (the last two are not in the actual house 😉).

Birth has always been something the body knows how to do.

Long before modern systems existed, people were giving birth in spaces that felt familiar, supported, and aligned with them.

And today, you still have options.

For some, that looks like a hospital.
For others, it might look like a birth center or home birth.

It’s not about one being better than the other.
It’s about understanding what’s available to you, and choosing the environment where you feel the safest, most supported, and seen.

You were never meant to feel powerless in this process. You were meant to be supported in it.

If you’re curious about what birth center care looks like, we’re always here to have that conversation. Send us a message to learn more.

As your due date draws near, you’ll want to pack a bag for your time at the birth center. But what should you bring?

The good news? Not much.

Our birth center is designed to feel like home, and we provide most of the essentials you and your baby will need in those first hours. What you bring is simply what helps you feel more comfortable, supported, and at ease during labor and recovery.

When you enter during clinic hours, you'll be greeted by Sarah's warm face. We asked her what she hears over and over again from birthing families.

Families feel supported while they are in our care. They don't feel like another number or name on a clipboard, but part of our family.

Our midwives and team establish relationships with our families so that a natural birth can be the most beautiful experience.

One of the first questions we hear at Colorado Birth & Wellness is: “What can I safely take now that I’m pregnant?”

At your first prenatal visit, we’ll review everything you’re currently taking.

Prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, herbs, and supplements. If you take medications regularly (or even occasionally), we encourage you to let us know as soon as possible so we can guide you early. But pregnancy doesn’t mean stopping everything.

For our full list of what to continue using and what to pause, head to our blog linked below.
