Every step forward matters, even when the path is steep.

No one should have to navigate the path to recovery from substance use alone. Sending a Recovery Card is a powerful way to show someone they’re supported and that every summit is the beginning of something new.⛰️⭐

This weekend we worked with HardBeauty and Bicycle Health to host a Recovery Cards signing party to encourage our community to write messages of encouragement to those with a substance use disorder and those in recovery. These cards will be used for a distribution effort in February to several correctional facilities across the state, to show individuals who are incarcerated that they are not alone. We're so grateful for our partners that help us make impactful programs like this a possibility! 🫶🏻

You can order your own printed cards (or download digital versions!) at RecoveryCardsProject.com to send to a loved one.

There’s no one-size-fits-all solution to recovery from addiction. Medications for opioid use disorder are incredibly effective, and for many people, medication is an important part of both finding and maintaining recovery. Since everyone’s path to recovery is different, we should support the use of medication as an important form of treatment rather than stigmatize it.

We ❤️ kicking off the new year with a positive story like this one. Recovery Cards Project artist Madison Magor shares why it's so meaningful to both give and receive greeting cards that support people in recovery. During the holidays, Lift The Label hosted a card writing activity with members of CBS Colorado who took time to write hopeful messages on cards that will be shared via our Encouragement Delivered initiative later this year. Thanks to CBS Colorado for welcoming us, and for sharing Recovery Cards Project with your viewers.
