Jaw clicking or popping might seem harmless at first — especially if it’s not painful — but here’s why it can be a warning sign:
1. It signals joint dysfunction.
2. It can lead to pain or locking.
3. It may contribute to headaches and tension.
4. It’s often linked to teeth grinding

Bottom line:
Clicking = a red flag, not a random sound.

Getting it checked early can help prevent long-term joint damage and pain—book an appointment today at https://www.tmjtherapyandsleepcenter.com/make-an-appointment/.

If you snore, grind your teeth, or wake up feeling unrested — your dentist might be the first to spot the signs.

And for many patients with mild to moderate sleep apnea, a custom oral appliance (made by your dentist) can be a safe, effective alternative to CPAP.
It’s collaborative care — and your smile is part of the solution.

Sleep isn’t just about feeling rested; it’s essential for long-term health.

Chronic sleep deprivation can increase your risk for heart disease, diabetes, and obesity, and it can affect your mood, energy, and focus.

Aim for 7–9 hours a night to keep your mind and body functioning at their best.
