Mom lives with Parkinson’s, yet she meets each day with grace, humor, and kindness. As she says, “Parkinson’s has taken a lot from me, but it can’t take away my attitude.” Her courage and optimism remind me that strength isn’t measured by what you can do, but by how you face each day.

In 2005, a journey began. One that would lead to the creation of Quilts of Honor, a nonprofit dedicated to wrapping our nation’s heroes in love, comfort, and gratitude through handmade patriotic quilts.

Pumpkin Patch Outing!

We took a fun tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch, where everyone got to pick a pumpkin. The tractor even had a ramp, so all of our residents could join in the fun and enjoy the ride comfortably. We closed out the afternoon with a picnic lunch and memories of a wonderful afternoon!
