Today I don’t have it all together.... As a recovering perfectionist this is hard to admit. My coffee went cold hours ago, I have baby drool on my keyboard, my son has been in pajamas all day and I didn’t get as much done as I wanted to this morning. It’s days like this where I have to take a deep breath, remind myself that I’m human and try again tomorrow.

Hi there! I wanted to introduce myself as the woman behind the Instagram account. I was going to use one of my professional photos but then decided to go with the actual reality of the present moment. Here I am coming at you as a therapist working out of the spare room of her house trying to make it work via telehealth! So who am I actually? I’m Cait Duncan and I’m an LCSW and a LAC working in Denver, Colorado. I work with two client populations. I work with individuals in early recovery as well as individuals from family systems impacted by addiction or mental health.
