Tom Carlson, Executive Director, and Kaleigh Perez, Director of Business Opperations at The Argyle Senior Living, recently attended the Unreasonable Hospitality Summit in Nashville—and the experience proved to be both energizing and deeply impactful.
What resonated most was how authentically Will Guidara and his team brought the principles of Unreasonable Hospitality to life. Far beyond theory, the summit served as a masterclass in how intentionality, creativity, and genuine care can elevate everyday service into something truly unforgettable. Each session reinforced a powerful truth: hospitality is not simply an action—it’s a mindset, a culture, and a meaningful competitive advantage.
Tom and Kaleigh returned with a renewed sense of purpose and responsibility to further enhance the resident experience at The Argyle. The summit challenged them to think more expansively about the smallest details, to design moments that matter, and to consistently seek opportunities to exceed expectations.
Equally impactful were the connections made throughout the event. Surrounded by passionate, forward-thinking leaders from a variety of industries, the exchange of ideas, stories, and inspiration added tremendous value. Many of these insights are already sparking new ways to bring elevated hospitality experiences to life within the community.
Grateful for the experience, the relationships, and the fresh perspective—now the focus turns to putting inspiration into action.
