Don’t miss your chance to check out Bella and her amazing bodywork! We are running a great promo for new clients through the end of the year so that you can feel your best this holiday season. Give back to yourself with some massage. You deserve it 🌙

Behind the scenes at Somnium looks a lot less glamorous than most people imagine. Yes, we are bodyworkers, but we am also the keepers of the never ending towel and sheet altar 🫠. Every freshly folded stack becomes part of the comfort that lets your nervous system settle though, so it’s a good problem to have. This is the quiet work that makes the session feel good before the session even begins. Anyways, if you’ve been thinking about booking with us, this is your sign. Bella and I would love to take care of you in the studio.

Yes it’s true, I’m not immune to bad reviews! Over twoyears ago I got one that really shook me. At first it stung, but over time I realized it was an invitation to grow, refine my craft, and trust that not every client is meant for me. Feedback can be uncomfortable, but I’ve also learned it’s also one of the best teachers. Sometimes the universe humbles you just to remind you that your magic is still evolving.

Finally getting to show off these dreamy photos by the wonderful 🌙 She captured the magic of Somnium in a way that feels like stepping into another world ✨I’m so excited for our future shoots together and if you haven’t checked her out, you need to.

When your body begins to twitch or drift, it is your nervous system softening. Those small movements, sometimes gentle and sometimes sudden and chaotic (like when you jolt awake because you feel like you’re falling), are signs of release. Whether you stay aware of each moment or float into deep rest, your body always knows what it needs and I love witnessing that unraveling on my table. ✨

Massage therapists across the board experience sexualization in their work and it’s unfortunate. It is 2025! It’s past time to see massage therapy for what it truly is: professional care for the body, mind, and nervous system.

Massage Therapists study anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and the intricate techniques that support pain relief, nervous system regulation, and mental health. This work is sacred. It’s clinical. It’s human. It’s CENTURIES OLD!

That being said, if you ever contact anyone at Somnium Therapeutics expecting anything inappropriate, you will be blocked and possibly receive a curse from yours truly 🔮

Hello my little lucids 🔮

Something new is stirring in the Somnium space, and I can feel the energy shifting in the most magical way. I’m so excited to share some wonderful news with you all. Somnium Therapeutics is expanding, and I finally get to welcome our newest healer into the fold. Read until the end to find out how you can get a little extra something this fall and winter season.

🕯️ Welcome Bella to the Somnium Team 🕯️

From the moment I met Bella, I knew she carried the same grounded magic that defines our work here. She graduated from the Colorado School of Healing Arts (my alma mater, a true shout-out to our roots) and brings such a beautiful balance of intuition and skill to every session. Her attention to detail, deep listening, and care for her clients will be the perfect addition to our little sanctuary.

🌙 Meet Bella

Bella’s presence is calm, kind, and deeply attuned. She holds space for each client with grace and compassion. With a BA in Psychology and experience working with autistic individuals and those with intellectual developmental disabilities, she brings a profound understanding of how the mind and body weave together in healing.

She is trained in Swedish, prenatal, and neuromuscular massage, adapting her work to each person’s unique needs. Her sessions flow like art, blending science, intuition, and care. And when she’s not in the treatment room, Bella channels her creativity through painting, crochet, baking, and volleyball.

She’s the kind of therapist whose energy makes you soften before her hands even touch the table.

🔮 A Welcome Gift for New Clients

To help Bella begin her journey at Somnium, I’m offering a little enchantment.

Through December 31st, all new clients can receive $20 off their session on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

If you share the news with a friend who books with Bella, you’ll receive a free upgrade worth up to $20 on your next session as a thank-you for spreading the magic.

✨ Please note that Tuesday and Wednesday sessions with this offer cannot be used with gift cards.

I cannot wait for you to experience the calm and artistry that Bella brings to Somnium. Her presence feels like a gentle spell settling into the room, grounding, healing, and full of heart.

Thank you to all of my amazing clients who continue to make Somnium such a nurturing and sacred space. Your trust and support allow this work to keep growing in the most beautiful ways.

Finally, a few special mentions!

Rachel Muich of Firewood Acupuncture- Thank you for your continued recommendations and amazing healing work within the holistic field (if you haven't seen her yet, you're missing out, and I encourage you to get in at her practice ASAP.

Welcome to August!

We’re moving through late summer — a time of ripening, reflection, and gentle transition. This is the season where everything feels a little golden and dreamy. The sun hangs lower, the days feel stretched and sweet, and something in the air invites us to soften. I have a few updates to share with you as we move through this next chapter together. A little scheduling magic, some reflections from the treatment table, and ways you can help spread the word about this work.

Thank you for being part of this little healing ecosystem. I am so glad you’re here.

Hello dear ones,

Scheduling 🌿

I hope you are finding small pockets of peace this summer. I want to let you know that I will be taking a much-needed vacation from September 25 through October 10. I will be completely out of office during that time, so if you are planning to get on the table before I leave, September books are open now and October books will be up soon. Please do not wait to reserve your spot as these months are already notoriously busy.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing up so consistently. Your presence in this work is powerful. The real magic of massage and bodywork happens when you keep coming back for yourself. You are doing the work, and I am honored to be there alongside you.

Thank you ✨

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing up so consistently. Your presence in this work is powerful. The real magic of massage and bodywork unfolds over time, when you return to the table again and again in devotion to yourself. You are doing the work. I am honored to walk beside you in it.

Just a soft reminder that I cannot release what you are not ready to let go of yet. That shoulder tension that refuses to budge? I will give it all the care and skill I can. But sometimes the body is holding stories that the mind and heart have not had the chance to speak.

If something keeps returning, I invite you to gently reflect. What are you carrying between sessions? Could the tightness be asking for something beyond physical release? Take a few quiet minutes today, or before our next session, to do a body scan. Breathe into the areas that feel dense or tender. Ask yourself if there is emotional weight there that wants to be seen. These small rituals can make your time on the table more effective and, dare I say, a bit more magical.

A favor to ask… 🌕

If you have some time, I would be ever so grateful for a review or for you telling a friend about your great experience here at Somnium. When you tell a friend about your experience, or take a moment to leave a Google review, it does more than support my small business. It helps others feel safe enough to take the first step into this work. Massage and bodywork can feel vulnerable, especially for those new to it. Knowing that someone real, someone like them, had a meaningful and effective session helps create a sense of safety and trust before they even walk through the door. Your words make a difference.

Other ideas 💌

Sharing your experience on Instagram, tagging me in a post or story, or gifting a session to a friend are all beautiful ways to support this work. It helps more people find their way to a space where they can slow down, reconnect, and begin to feel safe in their bodies again. Every share, tag, and referral truly matters. Thank you for helping me keep this work alive and rooted in community as well as being a part of it.

If you’re new here, welcome. I’m so glad you found your way. I’m Val, short for Valeria ✨

I’ve been practicing massage and bodywork since 2018 and I’ve loved every moment. My work is rooted in trauma-informed care and I’m passionate about making every body feel safe, honored, and at home.

I stepped away from the traditional spa world to create a space that feels more intentional. Your session isn’t just an appointment, but a sacred pause. A moment that matters. Your individuality matters just as much as the next persons, and that’s respected here.

My office is full of textures, plants, music, and magic. It’s an attempt to calm your nervous system with engagement from all five-senses. It reflects who I am and the care I put into my practice.

When I’m not in session, I’m deep in grad school readings, crocheting something cozy, or recharging with music and my animals. 🌿🌙🕯️

Thanks for being here and never forget that you’ll find yourself wherever you go. I’ll see you on my table soon.

✨Dare I say, “HUGE NEWS!”? In a few weeks, Somnium steps behind the curtain.

I am honored to hold space for the artists of UMS 2025, offering bodywork as quiet restoration in the midst of sound and motion.

I’ll be partnering with my dear friend Madison of to support the bodies behind the music with care that lasts beyond the stage.

Care is a vital part of creation and I am so grateful to support those who give us so much.

🖤 See you there

Keep the Momentum Going

Somnium Therapeutics (formerly Remedy Massage) has moved into a beautiful new home inside The Skin Sanctum and I would love for you to come see it. It is warm quiet and full of character.

Summer can bring a full schedule but it's important not to lose momentum with self care and bodywork upkeep. Consistency supports lasting change and there is always time to return to balance.

If you have been feeling stretched thin or just need a moment to reset this is a good place to land ✨

Sessions are open and the space is ready for you.

Thank you endlessly for your continued support.

🌜Val
