I would like to thank everyone that showed up at Ft. Logan to honor Marilyn, also for all the well wishes that were given before and after. It was overwhelming the response and care that was received.

Why do I need an eye exam? I see just fine.

Have you ever said this? Eye exams are for more than just seeing better. There are two parts to an eye exam, the medical and the refraction.

Medical check the health of your eyes; including lashes, lids, conjunctiva, and that's just the outside.

Inside your eye there are so many things that can go wrong and without an annual exam, there is no way to monitor when issues start. Plus, did you know the eye doctor can tell if other parts of your body need to be taken care of?

Marilyn Grace Stack passed away on Saturday, November 09, 2024 after fighting a long-term illness.
Marilyn born July 10, 1956 to John and Joan Hensley in Emporia, Kansas. She joined the United States Air Force in mid-70s and she served in Germany.
Marilyn met Allen Lee Stack in 1998 and they married April 17, 1999. Marilyn helped run Allen’s business as an office manager and continued with many of these important tasks from home when her illness became too much to go into the office.
Marilyn loved gardening and was known by her family and friends as Mrs. Clean. She loved traveling in the motor home, almost as much as she loved her rescue dogs.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Allen Stack, her parents John and Joan Hensley, her sister Joanie (Darryl) Wilson, her son Justin (Ashley) Wade and his two children, Maddy and Lucas. As well as many beloved, extended family members.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking you to make a donation to The American Heart Association or The Dumb Friends League.
Memorial services will be determined at a later date.

I started working with my Dad in the 70’s, and took over the business in 1992. We have made many changes over the years, and have never lost sight (what made my Father one of the most respected Opticians in his time), of what is in the best interest of the customer, with the highest quality products, and the best trained Opticians to educate and recommend.
