We are getting ready to seed for both our Minicamp and Jardinera on on display in our office. Any suggestions on what we should grow would be appreciated. In the past, various lettuce varieties and basil for the Minicamp, and tomatoes for the Jardinera have been planted. I was thinking cucumbers and some other leafy. Let us know if you have some suggestions. Looking forward to another harvest!

Organic Lettuce grown in NGS, distributed through the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. Very proud of this installation and these people.

Many thanks to the 50 students from Bruce Randolph School that helped us pull weeds, arrange our back space, and distribute over 200 free heads of lettuce to our neighbors this morning! Fresh local food has arrived in Elyria-Swansea...

Welp.. We're going to eat it this weekend. The table has been widdling down all week as customers and employees eat our lettuce. We'll be seeding next week in some other medias and also starting up germination of tomato's for the Jardinera. Stay Tuned!

Most of the lettuce is large enough we have been handing it out to customers as they come through. Tastes great! Less Filling! It has continued to grow exponentially and most plants are ready to go!

It's been 34 days (4.86 weeks) since our initial seeding. The table exploded over the weekend and we have lettuce running into lettuce everywhere. Look through the albums for the last couple of weeks and you can see how this can be done correctly. At this point the slowest media is the Smithers New Foam. Smaller plants and smaller root areas than the other media. Rock Wool, Rapid Rooters and Sure to Grow are all about the same size plants. Here's some close ups and 2 wide shots from either end of the table. Wish we didn't remove the 5th trough for display of the inner plastic as I could use the room right now to space them out. Salad anyone?

I know - another album only after 1 day! Well, if the heat kills them this weekend I wanted record of the plants. They are looking awesome. Growth since yesterday has been significant. Added a little Caos (Spanish Calcium Suppliment Fertilizer) for cell wall enhancement. Getting a little crowded on the table. These guys are sucking up about a gallon of water a day at this point.
