As a Chopra Center certified meditation teacher, this was difficult to read. I value integrity and transparency in the wellness world. The recent reporting about Deepak Chopra’s connection to Epstein raises important concerns. I felt it was important to share this with my community.

For context, one of my favorite voices on ethics in spirituality is Rick Archer. He is the host of the Buddha at the Gas Pump (BATGAP) podcast and co-founder of the Association for Spiritual Integrity (https://www.spiritual-integrity.org). The Association for Spiritual Integrity raises important questions about ethics and accountability in spiritual communities. Rick was my meditation teacher long before my path crossed with Deepak Chopra.

I’m grateful for Rick and other teachers who lead with steadiness and integrity.

Aloha 🌴 Wrapping up a blissful week in Hawaii on the island of Kauai
I took a roadtrip to Hanalei, where I spent time walking on the beach, and taking in the amazing scenery. On my way out of town, I thought I'd treat myself to a chai, and found a little organic coffee shop. And stopped seridepitously at small plaza with several tiny stores with the motto "slow yourself down." You can see it in the mural below. While I felt very much in that slow mojo mode, it reminded be to savor the moment even more. It's so easy to be rushing to the next thing and especially so this time of year. So it's a good reminder to be in the moment and be present to life, to those around you, and everyone you encounter. My trip was part social, part solo, all paradise despite the massive amount of rain. I practiced the fine art of doing very little… unless beach walks, jacuzzis, and turtle encounters count as activities! 😊
