As a true skincare/makeup ju**ie, I have tried it all. When you walk into my bathroom, it’s pretty obvious that I’m an Esthetician based on the stacks of crates labeled “Cleansers” “Toners” “Serums” etc…☺️ Consider me your professional tester. 😉
Here are some faves that I reach for time and time again, where to get them and how to use them. You’re welcome. 😘
✨1. Saie Super Dewy Glow Gel in Warmglow. ($29 at saie.com and sephora.com)
🌟 Especially for my 45+ girlies- get in the glow! A cool, dewy gel that hydrates and illuminates.
HOW TO USE: The possibilities are endless! For a simple lit from within glow, mix one pump with your moisturizer and apply in the morning for a gorgeous, no makeup all day glow! You can also mix it with your foundation, use it as a primer (over your sunscreen of course) or apply a bit as a highlighter (think cheekbones, temples and the inner corner of your eyes.) Going from Matte to a slightly luminous finish will easily take years off of your face. I promise. ❤️
2. Farmacy Brighten Up 3% TXA Dark Spot Toner ($34 at sephora.com)
🌟 Scared of acids? Don’t be! Exfoliate and brighten with these powerful yet gentle ingredients.
HOW TO USE: After cleansing with a gentle cleanser, apply a bit of this, letting it soak in for 2-3 minutes. After it dries, you can layer other serums, your moisturizer and your SPF!
✨ 3. Typology Paris Concealer
($36.90 at us.typology.com)
🇫🇷 If you know me, you know that I am a bit of a Francophile. This absolutely includes skincare and beauty for me. I am loving the Typology products. Beautiful botanical ingredients like Caffeine and Cornflower for de-puffing and nourishing.
HOW TO USE: After using just a dot of my Fit Glow Beauty Eyebright Color Corrector (mostly focusing on the darkness on the inside of my under-eyes) I dot a bit of Typology concealer (I use medium) under my eyes, right over the color corrector and blend it all together with a beauty blender. Can be used as an all over concealer and has a lovely radiant, hydrating finish.
