The psoas (and iliacus) is an important back muscle that can often be overlooked. Dubbed "the muscle to the soul", attending to this muscle can do everything from relieving back pain, to helping you to breathe better, to helping you feel your feelings more clearly, to helping you to ground more fully, connect more completely to your spiritual center.

I adore this muscle!

I love these sheets! They correspond with the different chakra systems in the body. I have used these different colored sheets to support how I work with my clients for a few years, now, and I love how they help me to tap into my clients' needs. I muscle test what color to determine what will support my client each session. And every time a client shows up, they share something that proves to me that the color that they are wrapped in either reflects where they are and want to release or it shows what emotional space they are creating for themselves. These colors also provide information regarding how I can support each client that shows up on my table.

I'm truly grateful for this tool.

How does color affect you? What's your favorite color to be wrapped in? Why?

After waking up, meditating and cuddling my little four-leggeds, I felt pulled to take a little walk. I couldn't get enough of the clean, fresh air that cradled my face or the snowflakes that bounced off my face as I circled the park. And these sweet geese made me smile, for some reason, as I relished this peaceful Wednesday morning.

How'd you begin your day?

The feel of a healing space means a lot to me. Environment can help set the tone for curative work. This is my office; my home away from home. I've worked from several places throughout my career, and this space is one of the best spaces I've worked from. It houses everything I've wanted and needed; it represents who I am and what I'm about. I'm grateful my clients have found it to be warm, inviting, and a space where they can pursue their wellness journey.

If you're looking for a place to receive healing, reach out to me, Natalie Gentry, LLC. I'd love to work with you!

What a sweet afternoon! My dear friend, Rebekah, invited me to a gathering of amazing women. We ate great food, had great conversations, and were treated to an amazing sound bath with Hollie Kikel. I literally left my body... Soooo good! Thank you, Jennifer Ingram, for your delightful hospitality! And thank you, Hollie, for that delicious sound bath!

Last week, I launched my second women's circle, Come Home To Self. This group is an in-person group for BIPOC women. (My other group is a virtual group for all women, anywhere, who wants to attend.) I created these groups to give women a space to share what's weighing heavily on their hearts, and to share the things that make their hearts sing.

In this day and age, many of us are experiencing a lot of heaviness. This group can be one outlet for you to find your grounding and growth in the company of other like-minded women. If you, or someone you know is interested in either the virtual all women's group, or the BIPOC group, pm me so we can discuss what you're looking for and see if the groups are a good fit for you.

Each group accommodates up to 12 participants.
Each group meets monthly; the in-person BIPOC group meets every 2nd Thursday. The virtual all-women group meets every 3rd Thursday of each month. 6-7:30pm. Investment: $50 ( You must be willing attend at least 4 consecutive sessions.)

This wonderful friend introduced me to an amazing techno band...Above and Beyond. I'm a huge fan of live music and this experience was such a treat! What a gift to experience new things with loved ones. And this concert was an absolute dream to attend. Additionally, everyone there was filled with so much love and joy! Such a wonderful evening; I'm still smiling! (And dancing!)

One of the original reasons why I became a massage therapist was to help my mother with her back injury. Back injuries can be challenging if the obvious parts of the back are all that are addressed. I'm grateful for my training in NST and Maya abdominal massage because both can be used to address low back issues. I only mentioned MAM here, but I use all the tools in my toolbox when working with clients.

Reach out to me if you, or someone you know has a back issue requiring deeper work. I'm happy to help.
