Physicians from Emory and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta are participating in a clinical trial testing the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine in children ages 6 months to less than 12 years. This is the same Moderna vaccine being distributed nationwide for adults.

So important for patients and their families

Update Visitor Policy at Lutheran Medical Center - EFFECTIVE February 10, 2021.

As the situation regarding COVID-19 patients continues to evolve, we are committed to maintaining a safe environment for our patients and employees.

We also understand the importance of support during the healing process. With that in mind, we've updated our visitation policy at Lutheran Medical Center.

At this time we are allowing ONE (1) visitor at a time for all non-COVID-19 patients. Only one visitor at a time will be allowed in the hospital. Our Labor and Delivery, NICU and Pediatric patients are allowed TWO (2) visitors per patient.

We have also lowered the visitation age to 16 and above.

Visitors are welcome from 6 am to 8 pm, daily.

All visitors must be screened upon entry to the hospital. After being screened at the main entrance, visitors will be issued a pass for their loved one's room. Please wear a mask upon entry and at all times while in the hospital.

We are so pleased for our patients to be able to see more loved ones during their stay.
