Art Therapy “Installation” project: What is an art installation? It’s more than just a display—it’s an environment within an environment, designed to immerse, inspire, and tell a story.

Our Art Therapy Group, led by Pagma, recently brought this concept to life with a winter-themed installation. Created in anticipation of the snow to come, the space invites a sense of seasonal wonder and imagination.

As you explore the installation, you’ll notice a colony of uniquely designed penguins. These pieces represent the individuality of our community members, celebrating the beauty in our differences and the joy of self-expression.

This project brought together several residents in a shared creative experience filled with laughter, connection, and pride. It’s a wonderful reminder of what can happen when creativity and community come together.

Managing healthcare can be overwhelming! Scheduling appointments across town, communicating with different doctors, and tracking prescriptions can feel like a full-time job.

Our innovative Connect4Life program relieves that stress by bringing key healthcare partners on site, and having our skilled Medical Concierge coordinate it all!

For residents, that means personalized attention, fewer trips out for medical care, and more time for things and people you love.

For families, it means peace-of-mind, knowing there’s a team collaborating behind the scenes and paying attention to the details.

For healthcare providers, it means access to the complete, real-time information to facilitate the best outcomes for your patients.

The best part is Connect4Life works! Not only are residents happier - they’re also healthier. Third-party research shows Juniper residents are 50% less likely to require a hospitalization than peers.

Check out the evidence-based whitepaper to learn more.

The Resident Emporium is a small store that brings a world of joy and independence to our community. Thanks to generous donations and careful shopping by the Community Connections team, the shelves are always stocked with essentials like clothing, electronics, and snacks. Because many of those we serve cannot easily leave the campus, this shop provides a vital opportunity to browse and buy necessary items right at home.

To ensure the Emporium remains accessible to everyone, most items are priced between $2 and $5. For those without a personal income or family support, our work therapy program offers a way to earn funds to pick out something special when the store opens twice each week. This simple storefront offers more than just goods; it provides a sense of normalcy and the dignity of making one's own choices.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helps keep these shelves full and our shoppers smiling. If you would like to support this mission by donating items, please contact us at 303-458-1112 ext. 335.

Our community was filled with laughter and a touch of Irish luck as we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in style! The day kicked off with an exciting shamrock scavenger hunt that brought out plenty of friendly competition and smiles. We continued the celebration with a lively Shamrock Social in partnership with Theralink by Powerback, where everyone enjoyed festive activities and the joyful atmosphere. To top it all off, our dining team served up delicious green smoothies while Irish jigs played in the background, keeping the energy high and the toes tapping all afternoon.

The Baker’s Circle group moved from the bread machine to baking right in our oven in the Life Skills kitchen! Residents worked together to create a delicious jalapeño cheese-inspired flatbread, and the aroma filling the halls was divine. Moments like these remind us how special it is to share food, laughter, and creativity together.

Every Monday, residents gather for one of our favorite traditions: Grace & Goodies. At 1:00 PM, they meet in the Life Skills Room to prepare a homemade treat together. Then, at 4:00 PM, they gather again in the Connections Office, where a resident volunteer leads the daily devotion. Together, they enjoy gospel music, fellowship, and, of course, the goodies they made earlier in the day. Each week brings a new recipe, a new devotion, and another opportunity to share time, reflection, and community.

Our Dehydration Program is off to a delicious start! Residents recently made homemade pineapple fruit roll-ups using fresh Dole pineapple. Watching fresh fruit transform into a naturally sweet treat was both fun and rewarding.

The best part? This is only the beginning! Our next dehydrating project will feature citrus fruits, and we can’t wait to see (and taste) what we create next.

Stay tuned for more dehydrated delights!
