For the ladies: Does it seem like some of the most misogynyitic people you encounter are other women? It's not your imagination. See link in first comment.

Pay attention to who stays as you change 🤍

Still far from 100% on the health front, but I didn't need to sleep all day this time. I tested for COVID and the flu, and the test strip says I'm negative. I'm skeptical. I've had false negatives before. Anyway, I highly recommend having unexpired COVID/Flu tests on hand and masking if you're in a crowded space. See the article from SELF in the first comment for more information about this horrific flu season.

Hi all! If you saw my Instagram post earlier today and are wondering how I’m doing, I still feel gross. Might have to go to the doctor to get tested for all the yucky things. Meanwhile, there’s a job fair coming up, so if you’re looking, see the link in the first comment.

Don’t get this twisted: jokes at someone else’s expense, racist, homophobic statements and hate speech are never okay. I had something come up over the holidays though where someone got pretty upset over something innocuous and it’s a pattern I’ve noticed with this perso. I thought I was super-sensitive. Anyway, my hot take on this article is if you recognize yourself in any of this, building self-esteem and a sense of security puts so much power and energy back in your contro. Food for thought. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/couples-thrive/202306/are-you-easily-offended #:~:text=Key%20points%20*%20People%20who%20get%20offended,calm%20down%20when%20one%20is%20feeling%20triggered.

Being easily offended creates a lot of unnecessary stress, conflict, and drama in life. Here's where that quick-to-take-offense impulse comes from and what can be done about it.
