Colorado Retina is proud to be aligned with Wish For Wheels, a 501(c)(3) Denver-based nonprofit organization that gives brand new bikes and helmets to children in low income communities.

On September 9, 2022, our team is headed to a Title 1 DPS elementary school to build bikes and bring health and happiness into kids’ lives. For every $200 raised, we can donate 1 bike and 1 helmet. Help us reach our $6,000 goal to serve an entire 2nd-grade glass of deserving students!

Today we celebrate World Sight Day!

Nearly everyone on the planet will experience an eye health issue in their lifetime and more than a billion people worldwide do not have access to eye care services.

To address the bigger picture at the national and global level, we need to be aware of our own eye health, making theme for 2021, .

addresses the importance of annual comprehensive eye exams, performed by your optometrist. A yearly eye exam is recommended for all ages, even if you have generally good vision. Eye exams help you stay current with your prescription and detect any eye diseases or vision problems, including sun-damage, dry eye symptoms, allergies', and digital eye strain caused by the increase in screen time we're all subject to!

Remember, your eye's are windows to your body. You can think of regular visits to the eye doctor as “preventative maintenance”. So please, GO GET DILATED!

Our Story

Colorado Retina Associates is a fourteen physician, sub-specialty eye care practice providing medical and surgical care of vitreoretinal eye disease. We provide comprehensive treatment for age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular disease, retinal detachments, ocular tumors, uveitis/inflammatory eye disease, inherited retinal degenerations and numerous other vitreoretinal conditions. Our group of specialists have trained at internationally renowned fellowship programs (6 or more years after medical school) and continue to engage in academia, advocacy, volunteering, and education both nationally and abroad. We offer a robust, in-house clinical research program to all of our patients. Clinical trials have become an increasingly important option to provide the latest treatments in the hope of curing blinding diseases. We are proud to be the largest retina practice in the Rocky Mountain region with the ability to collaborate as a team for highly complex cases. We provide six service locations in the Denver Metro area. Our modern offices are integrated with ambulatory surgery centers to facilitate immediate care for patients with ocular emergencies. Our two satellite locations extend care to Colorado’s Summit County and Goodland, Kansas.
