We need to talk about the numbers—because they explain the nightmare we’re living.

ICE’s budget is now $34 BILLION. While schools and healthcare are cut, our tax dollars are funding a Deportation-Industrial Complex designed to tear families apart.

What does $34B buy?
• Warrantless raids: ICE can now enter homes with “administrative warrants” (not signed by a judge).
• Children as bait: In Minnesota, a 5-year-old was used to lure his family outside.
• No oversight: Detention centers get a week’s notice before Congress can visit.
• Profit prisons: Over 90% of detainees are held in for-profit facilities (GEO Group, CoreCivic).

At the same time, our voting and workplace rights are being stripped. This is a coordinated erasure of civil rights—by law and by force.

What we can do:
• Know your rights: No warrant signed by a JUDGE, no entry.
• Divest from private prisons.
• Call Rubio & Scott—block the DHS budget.
• Demand accountability for leadership enabling this.

We’re not waiting for history to judge this.
We’re calling it out NOW.

2016 ✨
The year that felt like a whole lifetime.

We started in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and packed up our life to move to Jersey City.
We said I do in Vegas at the Little White Chapel 🤍—just us and all the magic.

We chased sunsets in Montauk, wandered through Montreal, and adventured with our sweet Lola, our little Pekingese who was always by our side 🐾.

Girls trips to Napa and San Francisco, hiking Muir Woods, standing in awe of the Redwood forest—feeling small in the best possible way.

And somewhere in between all of that, Sean and I marched in our first protest together, learning what it meant to stand for something, side by side.

So much movement. So much love. So much becoming.
