TWO YEARS!

This has been more than anything I could dream of prior to starting the journey. Everyone that’s seen me for treatment, become a trusted partner, allowed me to work in their office space has created the best year yet!

Very excited to be entering year 3 with a full launch in Summit County. Partnerships pending. Fantastic first year deal for group recovery sessions in your rental/hotel/home ⛷️🏂

The Persistence Project was founded after the sudden loss of my grandfather at 70. Shortly after retirement where he did everything “right” yet didn’t get to fully enjoy the benefits.

Let’s persist throughout every stage & season of life NOW. This is the only one we’re guaranteed. Let’s continue to enjoy our favorite activities — maybe try some new ones despite our “age” & seek joy always 🫶🏼

Anyone else SHOCKED at how sore they are after the first couple days on the mountain?!

Or frustrated that the day is cut short due to the inability to keep your legs together on runs after 3 or 4?!

I’m willing to bet this isn’t an only me experience 😂

Who I am as a physical therapist is NOTHING that I expected when I decided to go into physical therapy school.

Through the journey to heal my own chronic pain and help other people I have found that everything I’d said I would NEVER do are actually things I take a lot of pride in:
- pelvic floor therapy
- talking & working on feet

I also love to bring in more practical prescribed exercises & mindful movement. Table exercises can be helpful although they limit actual progress. Progressions and resistance exercise is our friend when healing & when avoiding injury 💪🏼

So often we are thought of after an injury or surgery, but I want to challenge you to view physical therapist as a tool to help you live a stronger and more fulfilling life. PTs have a vast knowledge of anatomy and violent mechanics. I can help you persist through all seasons and ages of life. Let’s not accept aging as the reason for decreased mobility, weakness, illness,etc. let’s take the control back!

Runners — I hear you because I AM you.

Warm ups take time and you’d much rather squeeze that run into a time period that is definitely *not* enough time to get it done in.

Causally calling myself out here 🙋🏽‍♀️

I choose these 3 exercises deliberately and they have helped keep unnecessary pains at bay during & after runs. Plus I feel stronger longer 💪🏼
