The holidays are a time to celebrate — but they can also be a high-risk season for DUIs, especially for anyone who has struggled with alcohol in the past.

At 1st Priority Institute for Better Living, we want you to enjoy the season without putting your future at risk.

A good first step is remembering why sobriety or limitation matter: your health, your freedom, your relationships, and your long-term goals.

Choose gatherings that support those priorities, surround yourself with people who respect your boundaries, and have a transportation plan that keeps you out of risky situations.

Pay attention to stress and emotional triggers, too because busy schedules and family dynamics can make it easier to slip. Protect your routines, get enough rest, and reach out for support when you need it.

And if you’re feeling the pressure this season, we’re here to help. Our DUI classes, counseling services, and supportive programs provide structure, accountability, and a judgment-free space to stay on track.

Call or text 720-773-0384 or 720-708-8396 to connect with us anytime. Let’s make this a safe, sober, and meaningful holiday season for you and yours. ❤️

One of the hardest parts of substance abuse isn’t always what happens to the person using—it’s knowing how to help when it’s someone you love.

From noticing the signs to figuring out what to say or do, it can be incredibly difficult to know the right approach.

In fact, many families walk a tightrope between wanting to help and fearing they’ll make things worse.

At 1st Priority Institute for Better Living, we help families navigate these sensitive conversations with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based strategies. You don’t have to face it alone. With the right support, healing is possible—for everyone involved.

If you’re unsure how to reach out to a loved one struggling with substance use, we can help you take that first step safely and effectively.

Reach out today to learn more about family-focused therapy and recovery support.
