The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a nutrition program that provides nutritious groceries, nutrition education, breastfeeding support and other services free of charge to Colorado families who qualify. Vaccines are safe, effective, and lifesaving — especially for babies. A third infant in Kentucky has died from whooping cough (pertussis) this year.

It’s crucial for infants to get the DTaP vaccine starting at 2 months, which safely builds protection against diphtheria, pertussis, and tetanus. Until they’re fully vaccinated, babies rely on all of us to stay up to date on our own shots.

La vitamina B-12 se encuentra de forma natural en los productos de origen animal. Entre las fuentes destacadas de vitamina B-12 se incluyen carnes, aves, pescados, huevos y productos lácteos (leche, yogur, queso), así como alimentos fortificados con vitamina B-12 (revise las etiquetas de los cereales, las leches vegetales y la levadura nutricional).🐟🍳🧀
