Vertical farming! Our baby red romaine seedlings are soaking in the sun (or LEDs in this case)! At this stage in their life cycle they are ready to be transplanted where they are spaced 8” apart until harvest. Even our plants practice social distancing!

Light trickles down from tier to tier of our baby red romaine lettuce. The sheer density in this controlled environment allows our vertical farm to produce more crops per square foot than traditional methods. Fed using hydroponics, these guys are efficient eaters. Anything they don’t capture with their roots gets recycled and sent out to our other thirsty plants. Use less land, use less water, bring the farm to the city—this is a recipe for sustainable agriculture.

Our Mild Mix microgreens are sprouting! These little guys just got transplanted and are reaching for the light—LEDs in our case. In just a couple of weeks our crew will pull, cut, and package these for delivery to Whole Foods and other local restaurants and grocery stores in Denver, Colorado.
