Rishi's Community Yoga Studio At Rishi's Community we are all about your yoga experience. All are well-trained in yoga philosophy, anatomy, physical postures, and breath techniques.

Serving West Denver and Lakewood since January of 2014, we are a yoga and wellness community specializing in small classes with individual attention to every student. Our Instructors and Classes:

We have outstanding instructors with varying styles so you can learn from different perspectives. They have a lot to offer! We have gentle, active, and vigorous classes to serve a wide variety of students. All classes include relaxation at the end. We also offer workshops, and community events. Your First Time:

• There is no need to pre-register for a class - Drop-ins are welcome!
• Try to arrive 10-15 minutes before class so we can show you around and get paperwork done.
• Come with an empty stomach.
• Wear or bring clothes that are comfortable and allow easy movement.
• Got a yoga mat? Bring it along, or you can borrow one of ours (no charge).
• Please leave cell phones in the car if at all possible.
• Relax and open to the enjoyment of the experience.

This week's instructor spotlight is on Mira! 💫🧡🩵

Mira joined Rishi's Community Yoga in August of 2024 and is a beloved member of our teaching team. She brings a calm and wise presence to her classes, and her dharma talks (words of wisdom) inspire her students on and off the mat. Mira is an artist and expresses herself through drawings and movement, whether it be yoga, dancing or skateboarding; Mira is a mover! She would like to share this about herself:


I’ve always been drawn to yoga - from an early age I was asking questions and rarely finding external answers which felt adequate. As I grew older, I was intrigued by various philosophies and religions - the ways humans have historically made sense of our experience. Yoga was the first practice which encouraged me to trust myself. To inquire within. Yoga brought a newfound sense of confidence and contentment in body and mind.



I deepened my practice formally in 2022, earning my 200-hr training certificate with Derik Eselius and Beth Sanchez of Denver Yoga Underground. I continued, completing an additional 300-hr training with the same organization in 2024.



I specialize in Hatha yoga, mindful meditative movement - intimately connecting breath and movement and incorporating ancient philosophy and techniques that extend beyond the mat.
