At Amada we look for ways to make simple, everyday tasks special. Amada’s in-home caregivers not only take care of daily essentials like cooking and cleaning, they also go above and beyond to make their clients smile. Recently, one of our caregivers discovered that her client had spent his whole life farming – so she purchased some seeds before her visit and planted a garden for them to tend together. At Amada, we know in-home care isn’t just about performing tasks on a to-do list. It can be hard for seniors to accept new limitations and open their home up to a stranger. Our caregivers understand that it’s essential to show compassion and really connect with their clients to make the changes easier. Amada caregivers are trained to provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, preparing and serving meals, medication reminders, and assistance with walking and ambulation. As the demand for quality senior care increases, Amada Senior Care increases our quality. Ken Jenson, our owner, wants to play a role in growing and improving the care for senior adults in a hands-on way. We specialized in implementing long-term care insurance policies. We help clients utilize their policies to the extent of their coverage. We have a commitment to in-home care, because that is where you feel most comfortable. We take the time and responsibility to educate not only the patient, but the whole family, as to ensure the best possible care. Our passion comes from helping those who can't help themselves. We have over 250 caregivers available to you, and we perform nationwide background screenings; all of our workers are covered by workmans compensation, liability insurance, unemployment insurance and all are bonded.
