Our residents at The Courtyards at Mountain View had a wonderful time out shopping and exploring! There’s nothing like getting out into the community, picking out favorite items, and enjoying a little retail therapy with friends.

From browsing the aisles to sharing laughs along the way, these outings are about more than shopping — they’re about independence, connection, and staying active. And let’s be honest… finding a great deal never hurts either! 😉

At The Courtyards at Mountain View, we are celebrating Brain Health Awareness Week from March 15th through March 22nd!

All week long, our residents will enjoy:

🐶 Special therapy dog visits

We are excited to be partnering with Joyous Paws for heartwarming puppy visits that bring comfort, joy, and emotional wellness to our community. Animal interaction has been shown to reduce stress and spark memory and conversation — such a beautiful addition to Brain Health Week!

We are also proud to partner with Dr. Harper, who will be supporting our wellness programming and sharing valuable insights to help keep our residents informed and empowered.

Brain health is about staying connected, curious, active, and engaged — and we are committed to supporting the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

💌🎨 Crafting, Connection & Valentine Cheer 🎨💌

Our residents had a wonderful time getting creative while making Valentine’s crafts together! From cutting hearts to adding personal touches, the room was filled with conversation, laughter, and plenty of pink. 💕

Activities like this support creativity, fine motor skills, and—most importantly—connection with friends. We love seeing everyone so focused, engaged, and proud of what they create.

💙Dear Families and Friends of Facebook, 💙

Yesterday was an inspiring day for the residents in Connections at the Courtyards at Mountain View. 💞 We made homemade chocolate chip cookies. 🍪 One of the many delightful snacktivities we prepare with the residents each week.
Snacktivities 🤓 is a specialized term for this classic cooking activity.
The residents get to put their gloved hands in the mix of what we are up to. 😆 It is delicious and always a great time.

Please feel free to join us on 🗓Thursdays, about 2:30-3:30, as we cook up sweet 🤤and savory snacks. It is a great way to see smiling faces and hear growling tummies. 👅
