Denver Health Paramedic Division The Denver Health Paramedic School is one of the REGION'S BEST.

Students who are accepted into our rigorous 6 or 12-month programs benefit from unique clinical opportunities, and have the opportunity to learn in one of the nation’s most active EMS systems. Each year, accepted students begin a rigorous course of study leading to a certificate of completion and eligibility to sit for the NREMT-P written and practical exams. The application and admission process

is competitive and top graduates are considered for employment at the Denver Health Paramedic Division. The Paramedic School is housed at the Rita Bass Trauma and EMS Education Institute. This state-of-the art facility is situated on the Denver Health campus and is solely dedicated to the education of the next generation of healthcare professionals. NATURE OF WORK:
People’s lives often depend on the quick reaction and competent care of emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics - EMTs with additional advanced training to perform more difficult prehospital medical procedures. Incidents as varied as automobile accidents, heart attacks, drownings, childbirth, and gunshot wounds all require immediate medical attention. EMTs and paramedics provide this vital service as they care for and transport the sick or injured to a medical facility. Congratulations Dr. Eberhardt! 🚑🚨

🥳 We are proud to announce Aaron Eberhardt, MD, as Denver Health’s new associate chair of emergency medical services (EMS) and medical director of the Denver Health Paramedics .

Dr. Eberhardt completed his emergency medicine residency and EMS and disaster medicine fellowship at Denver Health. For the past 18 years, he has served as associate medical director of the Paramedic Division and dean of the Denver Health Paramedic School, helping lead impactful initiatives to improve patient outcomes, standardize cardiac arrest care and strengthen EMS coordination across the system.

We are grateful for his continued leadership and excited to see all he will accomplish in this new role. Congratulations, Dr. Eberhardt! 💙
