The deeper you’re willing to go in your friendships, the more purposeful they will be. Healthy vulnerability starts with you. Showing another person your willingness to be open and honest gives them the ability to follow your lead and be vulnerable in return. That’s one of the keys to a long-lasting friendship.

In the spirit of gratitude, write down 5 things that you’ve been grateful over the last 24 hours. This can help you hone in on the small details of your life that you can be thankful for. It’s also such a positive way to start or end your day, so do it often! Remember, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.

Close-minded people don’t see the story behind the quiet, shy person at school or the rude person at the store. You might think you know what’s going on based on your own perspective, but this doesn’t make your opinion true. Let go of ignorant, stubborn judgments and open your mind to realizing you’ll never know the whole story of someone else. We all have a story that makes us unique. Instead of silently (or openly) judging, ask them how they’re doing or if they need someone to talk to. You’d be surprised how rewarding this can be.

Changing your course can feel overwhelming when you have too many decisions to make. This can lead to you being dormant because doing nothing seems easier in the moment than making big decisions. Ask yourself what you can do tomorrow or next week to make progress. It’s a perfect starting point. Sure, you need a long-term path, but it might emerge over time rather than figuring it out in the moment.

Monday is right around the corner. Want to start off your week on the right track? Write down a Monday to-do list, broken out by hour. Jotting down your day in advance can make you more productive. Tomorrow, as each task passes, cross it off. ✅ The momentum of productivity has an extremely positive effect on how you feel about your work. Cheers to a productive week!

Whether you’re listening to music to keep you alert, boost your mood, study, workout, or just because you feel like it, using music to improve your cognitive abilities can be incredibly helpful in your everyday life.
