TRIGGER WARNING 🚨 A lot of women say they don’t like their bodies - but they aren’t willing to invest in changing them.
Here’s what this looks like IRL:👇🏼
TIME
⏰ “I don’t have time to meal prep…”
🤔 But they spend an hour a day on Instagram.
🏋🏼♀️ “I don’t have time to work out…”
🤔 But they watch 2 hours of Netflix every night.
🥗 “Tracking food takes too long…”
🤔 But they’ll scroll DoorDash for 15 minutes deciding what to order.
It’s not a time issue… it’s a priority issue.
ENERGY

🤔 But they have energy to dissect everyone else’s drama.

See what a 12-hour workday looks like for me as an online body transformation coach and trainer. 🗓️
This day was a little unique in that I had “deep-dive client check-ins,” which usually take up the majority of my workday, so this may look a little boring, but it was definitely full and focused! 👇🏼
⏰ 5am: Wakeup, brush teeth, hydrate with electrolytes and trace minerals.
👩🏼💻 5:30am: Start client check-ins on the couch in my pajamas - I call these “soft mornings” and they’re the best.
🫐 6:30am: Break to make breakfast and coffee (I usually try to eat within 30 minutes of waking up, but I was in the zone this day).
👩🏼💻 6:45am: Back to client check-ins.
🐶 8:30am: Let the dogs out to go potty, feed them, then back to client-checkin’s.
💄 9:45am: Put on makeup, get dressed, and move to my office.
🎥 10am: Strategic coaching call with my clients.
🎥 10:30-1pm: Coaching call with one of my business coaches and mastermind colleagues while getting in 8,000+ steps.
🥘 1-2pm: Working lunch at my desk to finish client check-ins.
🔥 2:30pm: Pre-workout and get ready for the gym.
🏋🏼♀️ 3-5:30pm: Gym for stretching, heavy leg day, zone 2 cardio, and hydro-massage (7,000+ more steps).
💦 5:30-6pm: Shower and back into PJs.
👩🏼💻 6-7:30pm: Habit stack by doing LED mask while working a bit more.
👩🏼🍳 7:30-8:30pm: Make and eat dinner (high-protein, low-fat quesadillas).
📺 8:30-9:15pm: Relax with sleepy-time tea and a piece of chocolate.
😴 9:30-10pm: Get ready for bed, journal, and fall asleep.
If it looks like all I do is work, workout, make/eat food, and sleep…
On a weekday… yea, that’s pretty accurate. 😜
Though, I’m trying to get better at scheduling in some rest/recovery time aside from productivity.
Nonetheless… a 12-hour workday DONE. ✅

I’m trying this thing called rest and relaxation. 🫢
😶 Stillness
🫣 Laying in the sun without any screens shining into my eyeballs
😮💨 Not thinking
😵💫 Silence
TBH, I’m not that good at it, and I know my nervous system is still on overdrive in this high-tech, always-on, immediate response hustle culture. ☠️
Even as a past yoga instructor of 8 years, I don’t take enough time to breathe, be still, or just sit with my thoughts quietly.
This is why movement and exercise is key for me. 🔑
Working out 4x a week doing heavy strength training, stretching, walking, and going to heated yoga a few times a month is my saving grace.
Movement helps me process things. 💁🏼♀️
🧘🏼♀️ I move emotions and stress through my body.
✨ I get out of my head and into my body.
🧠 I close the tabs in my brain - even if only temporarily - and I move.
Taking care of my health and my body is one of the best forms of therapy for me.
And if you didn’t already know this…
Movement literally closes the stress cycle so you’re not running around in fight or flight all day. 💫
It’s also why zebras don’t get ulcers (read the book). 🦓
I’m trying to challenge myself to 15-30 minutes of stillness everyday - whether that’s breathwork, laying in the sun without my phone, peeling myself away from my stand-up desk and walkpad and actually going outside to walk without headphones…
It sounds simple, but I think this kind of practice would be really great for all of us - especially as a little mini challenge in March! ☀️

If you’ve been working out, eating pretty healthy(ish), doing all the “right” things… and your body still doesn’t look lighter, tighter, or more toned the way you want it to…
Then listen up - because there’s something the fitness industry doesn’t love saying out loud. 👀
📣 “TONING WORKOUTS” ARE NOT A REAL THING.
I know… controversial.
But the word “toned” isn’t a workout style, a type of exercise, a fitness class, or a 6-week challenge.
It’s simply what happens when two things occur in your body at the same time:

That’s it.

Most importantly, I don’t believe in diets, but rather, in sustainable nutrition strategies that break the cycle of deprivation, yo-yo dieting and the weight gain game. I’m a certified Yoga and Group Fitness Instructor, an avid gym-goer, a fitness class lover, and a big believer in resistance and weight training. Whether the desire is to slim down, tone up, or build lean muscle mass, I provide effective workout schedules, exercises and movement strategies to help reach goals. And unlike working with a personal trainer, I leverage my knowledge as a Nutrition Coach to develop a cohesive, holistic plan that optimizes efforts in the gym AND in the kitchen.
MINDSET
A healthy body is nothing without a healthy mind(set). In 2018, I experienced a life-changing five-week life empowerment program that changed the game for me when it came to making healthier decisions for myself. That experience, along with my knowledge and trainings as a Yoga Instructor, assist me in helping clients improve their mindset, identify their goals, and make strategic plans towards a new milestone. Whether the desire is to improve self esteem, become a better partner or friend, work on finishing tasks, or starting the day with a positive morning routine, I help identify growth opportunities and facilitate a plan for feeling good in the mind, and set into motion.
