The goal isn’t to chase a smaller body your whole life. It’s to build a body you don’t have to keep fixing. 🫳🏼 🎤

For me, 2025 wasn’t just about feeling more like myself again.

It was about maintaining my 30lb natural weight loss after having surgery and health struggles - and moving forward in a way that felt sustainable and aligned.

My body changed from 2024 to 2025, yes - but not because I pushed harder or chased extremes.

Instead, I implemented a custom 360 strategy, I followed the plan, and continued to support myself in ways that made it easy to sustain.

Not only that… I built more muscle, got stronger, ate more, recovered better, and didn’t get thrown off the wagon when life got busy.

At the same time, my business doubled year over year.

Again. 😳

And not because I did everything myself, but because I stayed focused, kept refining how I coach and support my clients, and continued investing in my own growth.

I hope this doesn’t come across as bragging because that’s not the intention of this post.

It’s to show that amazing results AND being able to sustain them doesn’t come from diets, challenges, more willpower, or trying to “be better.”

It comes from having the right strategy, the right support, and the willingness to invest in yourself instead of doing things on your own - guessing, wishing, and waiting for something to happen.

Why do we resist doing the things that help us feel lighter, healthier, stronger, hotter, and just better overall?

You know you’ve healed your relationship with food and exercise when the holidays don’t send you into a spiral. 🎄✨

🥸 One of the biggest mistakes people make with meal planning and food prep is overcomplicating it.

Because most people don’t fail their diet… they fail their prep and let excuses take over. 🫢

But meal prep doesn’t have to be complicated.

In fact, the more complicated you make it, the less likely you are to stick to it. 🙈

Here are a few simple strategies I teach my clients to make food prep easy, sustainable, and actually supportive of weight loss, fat loss, and toning. 👇

1️⃣ Ingredient prep > full meals.

Instead of prepping perfectly-portioned meals, prep ingredients (think 1-2 lean proteins, a few veggies, and a carb like quinoa or roasted potatoes).

You can mix and match all week into salads, bowls, wraps, tacos, etc.

Add a few sauces and you’ll never get bored.

2️⃣ Take the halfway-prepped route.

Not everything needs to be cooked by you. Think rotisserie chicken, shrimp cocktail, canned tuna, and pre-grilled proteins.

3️⃣ Also… You don’t even have to cook. 😅

Bagged salads, veggie trays and hummus, fruit, wraps, sandwiches, etc. all keep fiber, volume, and nutrients high with minimal effort.

4️⃣ Always cook extra.

If you’re already cooking protein, veggies, or carbs, double it. Leftovers become quick meals, salads, or on-the-go options later in the week.

5️⃣ Have grab-and-go snacks ready.

Yogurt, protein bars, jerky, meat sticks, dried fruit or edamame are great options. Stash them in your car, bag, desk, and pantry so you never get hangry.

Overall, meal prep doesn’t have to be boring, bland, complicated, or obsessive.

It should make your life easier and minimize decision fatigue at meal time. 🥰

🛀 Just like in real estate, if you skip the prep work or go the cheap route, your end result is gonna look like crap.

This is a recent shower renovation at my first property- my old bachelorette pad that’s now a rental.

I knew the shower needed an upgrade, so I surprised my tenants with a full mid-century modern makeover.

Could I have done a no-demo “quick fix” or slapped in one of those cheap one-piece showers? Sure.

Would it have saved money up front? Yep.

Would DIY have taken longer, looked mediocre, and caused issues down the road? Absolutely.

This is exactly where most people get stuck - both in renovations and in weight loss.

If you try the DIY route, you say:

🤔 “I’ll just figure it out as I go.”

😐 “I don’t want to spend the money right now.”

🧐 “I can probably do most of it myself.”

What actually happens…

1️⃣ DIY takes 10x longer than expected.

2️⃣ Mistakes, setbacks, and delays are frustrating AF.

3️⃣ You end up redoing things that should’ve been done right the first time.

With this shower reno, instead of weeks of YouTube tutorials, second-guessing, and hoping it turned out okay, I hired experts.

They demo-ed what needed to go, prepped the foundation properly, and then built a shower that looks amazing and functions the way it should.

And this is exactly how I look at weight loss, fat loss, and toning.

Most people try to DIY their body by eating less, doing more cardio, and starting random workouts.

But skipping the prep phase and going the cheap route is why people stay stuck.

There’s no shame in gaining weight - sometimes it happens, like… ⬇️

💼 A stressful job or busy period in your career. 

👶 Having a baby and surviving the early childhood days.

🔥 SAVE THIS WORKOUT 🔥 If you’re looking for a calorie-burning workout that combines strength and cardio…

AND you want a quick way to hit up all the muscle groups while torching calories…

AND you have limited equipment and space (like if you’re traveling)...

Then this workout is for you!

📖 Backstory: When I was traveling the world while coaching clients for 30 days back in October (we went to Japan, Vietnam, and Bali)...

I was totally reliant on hotel and resort workouts - meaning, minimal equipment and space, and definitely less structure and intensity.

That’s where a workout like this can come in handy.

Complete 3 sets of each circuit below, resting 90 seconds between sets, then move to the next circuit. 👇🏼

💪🏼 CIRCUIT 1: Squat-to-Overhead Press (20 reps), rest 30 sec, then straight into Stability Ball Plank-to-Knee-In-to-Pike (8-10 full cycles), then rest 90 sec and repeat 2 more times.

💪🏼 CIRCUIT 2: Reverse Deficit Lunge to Hammer Curl (15-20/side), rest 30 sec, then get into Mountain Climbers (25/side). Rest 90 sec then complete 2 more sets.

💪🏼 CIRCUIT 3: Elevated Heel Goblet Squats (10-12 reps), rest 30 sec, then into Oblique Side Plank: Elbow-to-Knee (10-12/side). Rest 90 sec then repeat 2 more times.

💪🏼 CIRCUIT 4: Lateral Jump Lunges (20-30 total), rest 30 sec, then into Tricep Dips (15-20 or AMRAP). Rest 90 sec then repeat 2 more times.

Although this workout burns calories and is good for travel…

I would never recommend this workout if you were trying to shed fat and tone. 🫣

➡️ A custom 360 plan paired with a proper training program and nutrition goals are always going to yield you bigger and better results…

I’m a certified Nutrition Coach, an amateur chef, and am a big believer in fueling your body properly. I’ve spent my entire life diving into food, whether dissecting the nutrition of each meal, testing and treating personal food sensitivities, or leveraging certain strategies for reaching new goals. Most importantly, I don’t believe in diets, but rather, in sustainable nutrition strategies that break the cycle of deprivation, yo-yo dieting and the weight gain game. By utilizing my nutrition knowledge and my chops in the kitchen, I provide long-lasting strategies and easy-to-implement tactics that allow my clients to feel their best and reach their ultimate potential.
