My other practice, Numia Healing Center (numiahealing.com), was featured in the New York Times yesterday in an article about psilocybin therapy for traumatic brain injuries!
The piece highlights the journeys of former NFL players Derek Anderson and Brian Cushing, who found relief through psilocybin-assisted therapy right here in Denver after conventional treatments fell short. Their experiences align with emerging research from Johns Hopkins and Northeastern University showing how psilocybin can help restore brain function and increase neuroplasticity, giving the brain a chance to adapt and heal.
As more athletes and veterans share their stories of finding hope through this therapy, it's becoming clear that we're witnessing a significant shift in how we approach brain injuries and mental health. I'm honored that Numia is part of this healing movement.

Some athletes battered by concussions are desperately searching beyond conventional medicine. Researchers see potential in the brain-stimulating power of psilocybin mushrooms.
