Real patient story:
A woman came to me with shoulder pain for 6 months. Couldn't lift her arm above her shoulder. Three other professionals couldn't help her.
In one session, I identified the problem: her posture was causing shoulder blade dysfunction. I didn't work on her shoulder at all - I worked on her ribs and posture.
Within 3 weeks, she had full range of motion restored.
Here's the key: Her shoulder wasn't the problem. Her shoulder blades weren't moving properly, which was causing the arm to move incorrectly.
Everyone else treated the shoulder. I treated the movement pattern.
This is systems thinking vs component thinking.

Got a pain that won't quit? Maybe it's not actually coming from where it hurts.
