Today, Jesse (Clinical Liaison) and I had the opportunity to represent Amberwood Post Acute on Mile High Living on Channel 7 live here in Denver.

We spent six minutes sharing what makes Amberwood special and the heart behind the care our team provides every day.

Grateful to work alongside people like Jesse and proud to represent a team that consistently shows up for our residents and families.

Celebrating THREE years since PACS acquired Amberwood. Thankful for the support and resources that allow us to keep growing, and incredibly proud of the Amberwood team whose heart, dedication, and hard work make the difference every day. Today we celebrated by giving out anniversary pins based on years of service to recognize the people who have been part of the journey. Excited to celebrate these milestones together.

Today our Medical Director, Dr. Leslie Eber, introduced Paige Hector, LMSW, an expert in person centered, trauma informed care and Nonviolent Communication. Our team had the opportunity to learn from her insight, experience, and practical guidance, and we’re grateful for the time she spent investing in our staff and the care we provide.

Big things are happening at Amberwood! We finished our front lobby renovation, and now we’re moving into the rest of the building. I’m so grateful to be part of a company that truly pours back into our staff and residents and wants this place to feel like home. We’re hoping to have everything done by the first of the year. We’ll plan an open house soon, but you’re always welcome to stop by and check out the changes as they happen.

We’ve also had some really exciting wins lately. We received the 2024 Bronze Quality Award, and once the government reopens, we’ll officially be at a 5-Star quality measure status. We continue to take some of the highest-acuity patients and do really well with them. Something I’m especially proud of — we currently have one of the highest discharge function scores in the entire state. That’s a big deal for us and speaks to how hard our team works to help residents get stronger and go home.

And as always, Amberwood stays almost always completely full. Thank you to our amazing community, partners, families, and staff for trusting us and believing in what we’re building here. So many good things are ahead!
