It is with pleasure and excitement that I want to share with you that I am offering group therapy for sexual abuse survivors (women's only group) with the support of my trusted and respected college Shauna Gauthier of Emerge Counseling as co-therapist. If you have friends, clients, or acquaintances who may be interested in attending this group, please forward this message below for them to get in touch about potentially joining this healing process.
The Women's Hope Project
A Restorative Group for Women with a History of Sexual Abuse
The experience of sexual abuse in childhood can deeply impact an individual's sense of self, interpersonal relationships and the ability to hold onto hope in the face of life's challenges. The Women's Hope Project is a 16 week therapeutic group designed to address the themes and issues related to the harm of sexual abuse. We believe that the path towards healing is rooted in the context of relationship. Group counseling provides a therapeutic and supportive environment for individuals to explore the brokeness and beauty of their own stories while engaging the stories of others. It is through this mutual engagement and exploration that hope can be restored.
