Dianne L. Douglas
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Dianne Douglas on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026. Born on March 1, 1939, in River Forest, Illinois, Dianne was a devoted mother to her daughter, Dawn Brannon, and her son, Dennis Higgins.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Alyce Douglas, and her siblings, Dr. Kenneth Douglas, Chas, Dolly, and Malcolm. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Sarah, Spike, Mia, Frank, Charles, Gigi, and Malcolm.
Dianne found great joy in teaching, gardening, and spending time with her beloved golden retriever, Katie, as well as her many neighbors and friends. She was loved by many and will be immeasurably missed.
A private service will be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to a charity of your choice in Dianne’s name.
