It also protects those too young to get their vaccine. 2 cases of measles have been reported at Broomfield High school. One of the cases went to the UC health urgent care in Broomfield. The MMR vaccine is safe and keeps you from getting measles which is a potentially deadly disease in many ways. Measles itself can kill you. But if you survive it wipes out all immunity you had to precious diseases and can cause you to get incredibly ill in the aftermath. Check the CDPHE website for exposure information. If you think you may have been exposed call the health department or message us, but please try to stay home.
