Step into the shoes of a medical detective in this interactive, multi-disciplinary case study with Kimberly Picchietti, MS, PA-C. Follow a patient presenting with a strange constellation of symptoms that cross the boundaries of cardiology, neurology, rheumatology, and GI.

Without spoiling the two rare conditions at the heart of the mystery, we invite the audience to analyze the evidence, connect the clinical dots, and help uncover the final diagnosis. This is an immersive challenge in diagnostic reasoning where every clue counts and four specialties collide. Can you solve the case?

Rachel Weinzimmer will present "Hey, it’s me, I’m the problem - When to (not) send your patients to the ED" at the upcoming CAPA Conference.

Are you working in primary care or urgent care and are unsure which patients to send ED or are frustrated by the emergency department response? Bridge this gap (with some Taylor Swift flair) with an evidence-based presentation that outlines when and when not to send your patient to the ED. Additionally, transfer of care top tips will help reduce the stress of communicating with the ED.
