Our mission is to support the young fighting the battle of Acute Myeloid Leukemia or survivors of AML.

We commit to providing resources, advocating for awareness and understanding, and supporting young AML warriors and their families.

🎄This holiday season, we want to take a moment to share more behind our “why”, Vaughn. Vaughn really truly loved Christmas and the whole holiday season ever since he was a little boy! We would do holiday activities like driving around drinking hot cocoa and finding all the coolest Christmas lights, getting bundled up and seeing lights at different places and spending so much time with family.

On his very last Christmas, he was doing a round of chemo and we had to spend it in the hospital. All of his close family came to the hospital on Christmas Day and had our Christmas in the hospital cafeteria. After we ate and did gifts, we all went outside, ran around and had a silly string fight. Everyone spoiled him and he ended the night telling us he thought it would be a bad Christmas but it was really great! Every holiday season is excruciating but we always try to keep his spirit alive and share as many memories as we can. Here’s a few of his Christmas memories ♥️

We know how hard Christmas can be while going through things like mental illness, depression, and loss. Especially when your lost loved one loved Christmas and this time of year, just as our Vaughn did. We wish you a Merry Christmas and hope there is some joy you can find during this time, and know it’s okay to not be okay and you do not have to put on a face for anyone! 🧡

Today we delivered 39 holiday packages to the Children’s Hospital that once cared for my sweet Vaughn.
What began in a place of deep loss continues to grow into something full of love, light, and hope.
Each bag was filled with comfort, care and a reminder that these kids are not alone!
Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this possible!! This was for Vaughn, and for every child spending the holidays in a hospital room.
His love continues to reach other children who need it most ✨
Forever honoring him. Forever choosing hope. 🤍

The behind-the-scenes moments ✨
Sorting, packing, and pouring love into every bag — all for the bravest kids. We created 39 packages sorted by age range and gender! We are endlessly thankful for everyone who donated or brought toys and of course to Wayne Carle Middle (where Vaughn attended) for their toy drive for us that was a huge success!! We are thankful for all the blessings we received ♥️♥️

Grief doesn’t take a holiday, and neither does love.
We honor those we miss and the light they continue to bring into our lives.

🎄✨ Toy Drive Fundraiser This Saturday! ✨🎄

Just a quick reminder that our Toy Drive Fundraiser is happening this Saturday from 10am–1pm at New Hills Church!
We’d love for you to join us and help spread some holiday joy to kids spending Christmas in the hospital.

For every toy you bring, you’ll receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win great prizes! 🎁

Join us for our Toy Drive Fundraiser on December 6th (10 AM–1 PM at New Hills Church) as we collect toys and put together holiday care packages for AML warriors and other brave kids spending the holidays in care.

An enormous THANK YOU to **Orchard Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar** for hosting a fundraiser to support the Vaughn Johnson Legacy Foundation — and to everyone who showed up, shared, and dined for our cause.

Because of your generosity, we raised an incredible $2,035!! 🎉🎉

These funds will go directly toward our mission of supporting young AML warriors and their families, spreading awareness, and funding research that brings hope for better treatments and a cure.
