Tight IT band slowing you down? 👋
The IT band is a thick band of connective tissue that runs along the outside of your thigh, from the hip down to the knee. It’s job is to help stabilize the hip and knee during activities like running, cycling, and squatting 🏋️
When the muscles around it get tight or overworked, the IT band can become irritated, leading to outer knee or hip discomfort and restricted movement.
The Graston Technique is a targeted soft tissue therapy that helps break up restrictions, improve mobility, and increase blood flow along the IT band. By addressing those sticky spots, we can reduce tension, support healthier movement at the hips and knees, and help your body recover more effeciently.
