A candle light 90 minute opportunity Wednesday the 26th for you let go of that burden you are carrying with restorative yoga.
🌓
What is Restorative Yoga?
You know when you get really comfy on the couch and it is as if you may never want to move again because you are one with comfort? This is the ultimate passive yoga class, easy reclined postures that allow your musculature to release, the fascia to unwind, and the emotion to pour from your tissues where it is currently stored and wreaking havoc on your body.
🌓
What to expect?
Enter the warm, calm, dimly lot space and set up your mat. A short guided meditation before practice begins and I talk you through a few comfortable asanas to connect you to your body and relieve you from the experience of always being caught up in your mind.
If people need to cry that’s okay. If people need to sigh, rock, sway, hum, close their eyes, stare at the twinkling stars of the sky, everything...this is that space.
At the end your body will be unraveled and ready for rest, your mind will finally be quiet.
🌓
Why is there a need for this?
Because life is hard.
Because it’s not “acceptable” to be anything other than ‘okay’ or ‘great’ even when so often we are carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders, unwilling or uncomfortable sharing that pain with another person for fear of asking too much.
This is your opportunity to feel through what you are working through, for 90 minutes you don’t have to pretend to be okay or deny tears of anger or hurt.
I am holding space for you to be, to sit comfortably and work through what you need to alone, but with others.
Everyone needs their pain to be recognized if only for a short time that way it doesn’t feel like such a lonely uphill battle.

This class is entirely donation based, please bring your own mat, a yoga block or two if you have it, and dress comfortably.
