Escape sleeping???? 😴💤 (hyper-sleeping)
Most annoying thing ever!! Many people love to escape into sleep where time can never be reclaimed! Unfortunately 🙄
Why does this happen to me? It isn’t just you and is very common problematic behavior.
The mind is constantly at work to maintain stability and harmony while conserving energy in preparation of what’s to come. High demands can send signals to rest or sleep. Like computers crash, freeze or slow from too much data. Down time compacts stress more to fit in more onto the burdens we cannot avoid. The cycle repeats.
When we hit the wall, shut down, freeze or slow down we often completely forget, ignore, minimize benefits of, belittle and sometimes even mock things we can do to keep moving. What? That makes no sense at all!

Coping skills aren’t just words they are actions designed to outsmart or over power our defenses! Simple coping skill like breaking things down into smaller parts, celebrating milestones, or the challenging one yet…deep breathing exercises 😳

“I know, let me just grab some help book and problem solved, yeah right!” “I got lists upon lists upon lists” “let me just breath this to do list away!” But have you developed these skills into habits?
How about this:
Network resources, if you do not have one, sit down and create one. List who is truly ready, willing and able to help you get the gremlin off your shoulder. If you have no one let’s find them!

Self care, are you really taking care of yourself? Basics are exercising, proper nutrition, health hygiene, sleep and peaceful interpersonal spaces? When was your last physical? Some walls we hit may beg the question, when was last shower? Last time your cleaned your home? It can get like that!

Therapists are experts educated, trained and experienced to help this exact situation, circumstance, state of being or frame of mind whatever you call it. Therapists call this block(s) and they are as real as a brick wall hitting ya! Psycho education and basic CBT

Why hire expert? Strong independent people because you want to achieve your goals and live your best lives! But wait 😱 what will “they say?” (Who are these people really? Are they there when you need them? Do they only show up for the good times? Who are theses critics 😳) Change perspective (even if you’re a tough guy, you can do this!)
