This weekend started Friday night at Target to do some toy shopping. The members loaded those toys onto our trailer to bring to Johnsons Farm Saturday for their annual Toys For Tots with the marines. This is a club favorite and means a lot to be able to help so many families at Christmas. As always, we would like to thank all of our sponsors who make this possible and the club members who take the time out of their day to help out. The spirit of the holiday season is needed now more than ever!

Since the original Corvette Takeover isn’t happening that doesn’t mean we still can’t get together and hang out. So the forecast looks good for next Saturday. Come hang out and check out over a 150 Corvettes, all indoors.

It was a big weekend for our club. Saturday, a bunch of members met up and drove to the Riverwinds, for the South Jersey Camaro Club car show. Sunday, we met at the Voorhees town center, and drove across the street to Brookdale Assisted Living. There, we met the residents outside. They got to enjoy our cars, and we got to enjoy the great conversations. A few guys came up with their bikes and even took a resident for a ride. She had a smile from ear to ear. Vp, Tim Brown was in town for the weekend and surprised us by showing up with Kelly!

On Friday, September 5th, The Original Garden State Corvette Club got a head start on Christmas shopping. We bought bikes, scooters, and as always a few corvette toys. We loaded up our trailer, and it is ready for our All American Car and Truck Show for Toys for Tots hosted by Ciocca Corvette at Bader field, Saturday, September 13th.
