Friday our learners celebrated Mardi Gras with hands-on activities and lots of purple, green, and gold fun. Today – we indulged in King Cake! We believe celebrations are the perfect opportunity for growth🎉

As we prepare to celebrate Mardi Gras, here are a few tips to help your parade days run smoothly –

💜 Preview the Day – Use a visual schedule or simple countdown to help your child know what to expect
💚 Prep for Sensory Input – Parades and parties can be loud! Bring headphones or identify a quiet space ahead of time
💛 Practice “Wait” & “My Turn” – Great skills to work on during bead tossing or group games
💜 Have a Comfort Plan – Favorite snacks, fidgets, or a safe break area can make all the difference
💚 Celebrate in Your Own Way – It doesn’t have to be big and loud to be meaningful!
