Today, we are celebrating Hector J. Emmanuelli, Planetree Regional Director for the Americas, who recently joined the Planetree team.

💡 What He Does: Focused on the Americas, he leads Planetree’s business development and consulting teams, working with organizations to advance person centered care and strengthen healthcare systems.

❤️ What He Loves About His Job: His career has consistently been driven by a commitment to improving access to high quality healthcare. He is deeply motivated by the opportunity to help develop solutions that create meaningful impact for communities and populations.

Reflecting on the Planetree Regional Summit in Salvador, Brazil

Last week, 162 healthcare professionals gathered in Salvador for the Planetree Regional Summit, a one day event dedicated to learning, connection, and shared reflection on person centered care.

Throughout the afternoon, participants explored inspiring experiences and practical approaches to strengthen the patient journey and reinforce the humanity at the heart of healthcare.

The event featured presentations from:
- Carla Behr Pitoli, Director of Growth Brazil at Planetree, who introduced the Planetree Model and its impact on care quality and the experiences of patients, families, and staff
- Dr. Yanne Amorim, Medical Coordinator at Clínica Florence, who shared the organization’s experience bringing person centered care to life
- Rubia Mercês, General Director of Hub Bahia at Rede Mater Dei, who presented the journey and lessons learned from Hospital Mater Dei Salvador

The gathering concluded with a conversation circle on the opportunities and challenges of strengthening person centered care, followed by a networking moment among participants.

This event was made possible in partnership with Singular Consultoria e Desenvolvimento and Hospital Mater Dei Salvador.
