You may get pulled in multiple directions today but use your brain to focus on what needs to get done now. Grab that sword and try to ignore the distractions around you.

Seven of Coins. Okay. Now the pressure is on. You have to keep moving but the path ahead is somewhat uncertain. And like many, what you fear most is the unknown. The bridge in front of you has questionable integrity and you can’t see far beyond the other side of the bridge. So have a “leap of faith” that things will go in your favor for you need that positive energy even if you must create it yourself. A fear of failure will become a self fulfilling prophecy. And it is Thursday. The weekend will be here soon.

Halfway through the week and you may find yourself dragging a little bit. This can be the point in the holiday season where energy can start to dip as maintaining all of this for weeks can be a lot to ask for. You don’t have to accomplish a long list of holidays tasks every day of the season. Today may be a good day to either let some things ride until tomorrow and give yourself a break or finish up some easy, small tasks. But this is a warning to stop pushing so hard if you want to be able to enjoy the remainder of the season.

Daily draw. Reverse Three of Cups. Three is the number of love; Cups is the suit for the Water element and emotions. Sunday is the traditional day of rest. Maybe there is a trifecta here? Except that the card is reversed. So while you should be pausing today and enjoy a somewhat spiritual day with your friends and loved ones, you seem to be more into the continuing hustle and bustle of the holiday season. If you gotta, you gotta…but take some time to stop and smell the Christmas tree and/or take some time under the mistletoe.

Winter is supposed to be the time to rest and nourish our bodies so that we can have more energy when the warmer weather comes back again. However, the holiday season demands a serious amount of energy output. So, this reminder is especially timely. Don’t burn out now. Conserve energy to make it through so you can rest up properly after.

So the card today is a reminder to relax and take some down time. The Moon shows a very peaceful seem where the inconveniences of life can be ignored for a brief period. If you can’t do such today, schedule some of this down time for the upcoming weekend.

This Thursday we are very focused on the earthly side of things. That makes sense. This time of year there is a LOT going on outside of us that we need to be aware of. Today is a good day to focus on those physical priorities that you have. The king is protecting his hoard. What is your hoard that needs that level of focus today? Just make sure you’re not overusing energy that you don’t have. The holiday season tends to take all we have and then some.

You may not keep everyone entertained, but you will keep enough of them engaged to let you know that this was worth the preparation. Just remember that this is a show; magicians are illusionists. So don’t fool yourself in the process by getting too high on your horse. Keep humility in your back pocket.

Today comes with feeling a of being a “fish out of water”. Perhaps it’s December descending into a deep freeze very quickly and early. Perhaps your week has already become more hectic than intended.
