Hi everyone! I've meant to post this for a bit, but I keep forgetting! The main news is that I'm no longer using my business or personal social media accounts (with a brief pause to post this π).
I logged off at the beginning of the year for a break and realized how much better I felt not using it. I talk with patients a lot about being conscious of how we spend our "spoons" (look up "spoon theory" for more!) or energy, and I realized I was spending way too many spoons on social media!
So, I am focusing my time and energy in other directions instead - one-on-one interactions with patients, writing in the blog and the clinic newsletter, and in-person events.
Here's how we can keep in touch:
NEWSLETTER: The best way to keep up with what's happening in the clinic is to subscribe to the clinic newsletter! I send 1-2 newsletters a month with clinic updates, Chinese medicine & seasonal health info, upcoming events, a bit on things I'm reading/enjoying/tea I'm drinking, and more. You can sign up for the newsletter using the link in the bio!
BLOG: I'm also posting more often in the blog on my website. Lately, I've written answers to several FAQs (how often to get acupuncture, why I don't accept insurance), a series on journaling and goal setting, and more. Coming up, I have posts with tips on evaluating supplements and on perimenopause & Chinese medicine. There's a link to the blog in the bio! (But I also include links to new entries in the newsletters.)
EVENTS: You can always visit my website to see what upcoming events or classes I am offering! The next event is our third FREE Book Trade coming up Sunday, March 16 from 1-3 pm - more details and RSVP on my website (https://www.fireweedacupuncture.com/calendar or find the link in the bio).
EMAIL: I'd love to connect with you one-on-one! If you need to reach me, you can always email me (kate @ fireweedacupuncture.com)! I'm always open to collaborations, questions, or just saying hi π Current patients can also message me within the patient portal or text the clinic, too!
