Did you know that our 8oz candles have a 40 hour burn time? Yes! That means that you will get a full week of work out of our candles while they burn. How do you get the full longevity out of your purchase? I thought you would never ask.

Follow these steps:

✅Let Your Candle Burn For 2 - 4 Hours
✅Keep away from drafts

Happy February 💚

Hi, I’m Kourtney! CEO & Founder of Ladie Lex Scented Candles, a Black woman-owned brand based in Des Moines, Iowa.

For a long time, I was doing what so many of us do… working hard, showing up for everyone else, and trying to keep it all together. I wore a lot of hats in different industries, learned a lot, and stayed resilient but deep down I knew I wasn’t meant to spend my life making another person a millionaire.

2018 I started Privacy, LLC to get my feet wet. Networking changed my life! Showing up scared. Stepping out of my comfort zone. Putting action to ideas. I took everything I knew and learned over the years then turned it into a mission. Then 2020 happened… and the world got real quiet and real heavy at the same time.

That season forced me to look at my life differently. I was dealing with stress, uncertainty, and trying to stay strong. I needed something that felt like relief. Something that could help me feel at peace while being creative. What began as a simple candle kit turned into research, late nights, trial and error, and finally a purpose. I realized I wasn’t just creating a product... I was creating a brand. A reset. A deep breath. A calm space for people who are carrying a lot.

And that’s what Ladie Lex has become...
