At DMC we ❤️❤️❤️ Vaginal Breech Birth! We have been attending vaginal breech births since 2021 and remember each vividly and fondly. We are proud of our history in holding space for late transfer clients coming from environments where breech vaginal birth is feared and providers lack confidence and training.

One of the most important elements of maternity care is that women and families have OPTIONS and we are proud to support our breech clients whether they choose a cesarean birth in the hospital OR a vaginal breech birth at home.

Knowledge is Power! If you or someone you know has a baby in breech position, this workshop can help guide decision making within a factual rather than fear mongering context.

Breech shouldn't automatically mean a mandatory surgery. You have options, and it’s time to learn them from the best in the business.

What does this mean?

✳️ It means that you will see one midwife throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey allowing for strong connections and elevated relationship as you navigate this journey 💕

✳️ To ensure we provide the best care possible, we are limiting our care to just three birth clients each month 🌼

Who will provide care?

✳️ Care will be provided by Caitlin Hainley who has been practicing in the field of maternal health for almost 20 years! Caitlin has been an IBCLC for 15 years and a midwife since 2016 🔥

✳️ Caitlin has practiced homebith exclusively since 2021 with experience in VBAC, twin and breech vaginal birth. 🙌

What Additional Services are Offered?

✳️ In addition to providing prenatal, birth and postpartum services, our homebirth package provides comprehensive newborn health examinations, 👩‍⚕️ wellness checks, and newborn screening services, including hearing screens, allowing you to focus your first month postpartum on recovering and nourishing yourself and your baby👩‍🍼without the need for additional outside appointments for these services.

✳️ Our birth package also provides additional comprehensive lactation care visits, as needed, with our provider level IBCLC to help you meet your feeding goals 🩷

It was an absolute honor ✨ to speak on Pacific Legal Foundation’s birth freedom panel in Indianapolis 💕 I met so many advocates for Midwives and Birth Centers, heard heartbreaking 💔stories from Georgia and Alabama, and met some true birth freedom fighters 💪 in those States.

My biggest takeaway is that though Iowa has so far to go, we have also come SO FAR 🙌 We truly do have a bright, birth, future ahead of us in this State 🌸 Let’s keep pushing for change for ourselves and for our children - may they find the path to birth choice and birth freedom well trod and easy to walk 👟
