Here is some great information! š¦
I want to help you understand true health and try to change the way you think. Hereās a few questions and some new thoughts.
Question #1. How do you ācatchā the flu?
The flu virus doesnāt just float around randomly āland on and biteā you like a mosquito. You donāt get the flu because of bad luck. The flu virus doesnāt hibernate in the spring and summer and then come out in the fall and winter. You donāt catch the flu because you didnāt get the shot. How can half a family in the household get sick and the other half not get sick? Were the sick ones unlucky? Were their prayers for health not answered and the others in the house were?
Remember from science class viruses are not alive. They do not have a cellular structure, which is often seen as the basic unit of life. Additionally, viruses do not have their own metabolism, and require a host cell to make new products. They therefore cannot reproduce outside a host cell. So the virus needs a weakened host first.
The cause of your body to express a state of illness because of a virus is because the body became suppressed. What suppresses and weakens a body? Physical stress, mental stress, emotional stress, chemical stress. Poor actions, executed consistently, over time, brings poor health. Its your fault! Not bad luck!
Here are eight ways you can catch the flu.
Eat a poor diet. If you want to catch the flu, make sure your body lacks the vitamins and minerals it needs to keep itself in good repair. Eat lots of processed foods, stripped of their nutritional value. Avoid fresh vegetables and ingest lots of high-fat snack foods.
Avoid adequate rest. After neglecting the quality of the raw materials your body needs to repair itself, deprive yourself of adequate rest. Stay up late and reduce the time you sleep as much as possible. Use to***co, coffee and other stimulants to fool yourself into thinking you have plenty of energy.
Stop exercising. To catch the flu, make sure you reduce the effectiveness of your immune and lymphatic systems. Unlike the circulatory system with its pump (the heart), your lymphatic system depends upon exercise and physical movement to circulate these valuable fluids with their germ-fighting abilities.
Rarely wash your hands. Increase your chances of catching the flu by compromising your personal hygiene. Remember to use your dirty hands and fingers to rub your eyes, pick your nose or wipe your lips.
Think negative thoughts. Look for opportunities to visualize having the flu. Pay attention to news reports about outbreaks of the flu and pay close attention to TV commercials from drug companies that sell products designed for flu sufferers.
Invite stress. Stress yourself physically by experiencing extreme temperature and humidity changes. Stress yourself mentally with constant worry or fear. Stress yourself socially by encountering as many negative people as possible.
Become dehydrated. Avoid drinking enough water. Reduce the effectiveness of your natural defense mechanisms and other bodily functions by drinking water-removing diuretics such as caffinated sodas, coffee, tea and alcohol.
Forget your appointments. Ignore the role of a properly operating nervous system, the master control of your immune system. Avoid all preventive strategies and shun our suggestions of periodic visits to help you stay well.
Question #2. What is the cause of ill health?
Bacteria and viruses, right? Germs, right? The answer is NO!
Letās say you are driving down the road and you come across a dead deer on the side of the road with flies all over it, one could conclude that the flies killed the deer, right? The answer is obviously NO! The Mack Truck killed the deer. The flies are scavengers.
The germ theory of disease, also called the pathogenic theory of medicine, is a THEORY that proposes that microorganisms are the cause of many diseases. It is a cornerstone of modern medicine leading to such innovations as antibiotics and vaccines. In the 1860ās Louis Pasteur showed that the growth of microorganisms was responsible for spoiling beverages, such as beer, wine and milk. This study led Pasteur to the idea that microorganisms infecting animals and humans cause disease. When there was disease there was bacteria present.
We have 2 pounds of bacteria that lives in our gut alone. It is called our Normal Flora. Normal Flora can be found in many sites of the human body including the skin (especially the moist areas, such as the groin and between the toes), respiratory tract (particularly the nose), urinary tract, and the digestive tract (primarily the mouth and the colon). Bacteria acts as scavengers in our body. They work symbiotically with our bodies to eat up waste. When there is weakened tissue the bacteria go to the site to eat up the waste. They assist in the healing. They are the flies. The Mack Truck that weakened our system is the physical, mental, emotional, and chemical stress. Which are the causes of subluxations that then decrease the bodies ability for the nervous system to coordinate its functions optimally.
At the end of Pasteurās life he has been quoted as saying āit is not the seed, it is the soilā. What did he mean by that?
Germs are a lot like grass seed. They have the potential to germinate and become a healthy green lawn, but only if the circumstances are just right. If youāve ever tried to start a lawn from scratch, you know how difficult it can be.
While grass seed needs the proper temperature, moisture, sunlight and soil conditions, all germs need is a lowered resistance due to physical, chemical or emotional stress. In fact, next time you get sick, take an inventory of the one or more physical, chemical or emotional stresses that you experienced in the days just prior to your illness.
Question #3. Are you Sick or Well?
If you are running a fever, have a cough, runny nose, throwing up, and have diarrhea are you sick or well? You are WELL (functioning properly). What? Yes, these are mechanisms that your body uses to detoxify. If your body was sick (not functioning properly) it would not try to rid the waste and regain homeostasis. The natural state of your mind and body is health. True health is when your body works as it was designed. You certainly donāt feel well, with all these symptoms, but thankfully your body is functioning correctly. Imagine the tragic consequences of taking a drugs to reduce the fever, suppress the cough, stop the mucous, stop the throwing up, and stopping the diarreha. That would be knocking out your bodies natural defenses and slow the healing. Thatās silly, why would I do that?
We are born with something called your Immune System. I can compare your immune system the the computer you are reading this blog on. You bought your computer and it came with some software already on it. You wanted new programs on your computer so you purchased and downloaded new software on your computer. The new software made your computer system work better for you and it is a good thing. You were born with an immune system and it came with some information already on it. To make your immune system stronger occasionally you will have to download some new programs on to it. The new software made your immune system work better and it is a good thing. I am saying that it is ok, natural, and normal for you to fight an infection at times throughout life. This is how we build our system and become more resistant.
Make good health choices. Put good stuff in and get bad stuff out. Take responsibility for your health. It is your fault if you get sick, not the bugs!
Happy Healthy Friday!
